This combined with our elevation and consistent hot, dry summers give us the climate of old-world wine growing regions such as the Rhone Valley (Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre), the Douro Valley (Tempranillo, Touriga), Austria (Blauer Zweigelt), and Northern Italy (Barbera).
